Actor Chanchal Chowdhury has earned a special place in the hearts of audiences with many popular dramas and films in his career. He has won the hearts of not only the Bangladeshi audience but also the viewers in West Bengal with his outstanding performances. Recently, renowned singer and director Anjan Dutt from West Bengal praised Chanchal Chowdhury, bringing attention to his talent and success.
Chanchal Chowdhury has acted in one of Anjan Dutt’s web series. Impressed by his acting skills, Anjan praised him on the stage of the Dhaka International Film Festival.
Anjan said, “Chanchal Chowdhury is an extremely powerful actor. I am a huge fan of his acting. There are many talented and strong actors in Bangladesh now.”
He added, “After watching Chanchal’s performance in ‘Moner Manush,’ I reached out to him. We planned to work together in a movie, but it didn’t happen due to some reasons.”
Chanchal Chowdhury said, “We have communicated a few times over the phone. We had planned a few projects together, but they didn’t work out. During our college or university days, he was one of the artists who reached the peak of popularity with the new wave of Bengali music. His songs had a profound impact on our lives.”
He continued, “Moreover, his acting and directing skills have particularly impressed me. His talent and expertise will always be a source of inspiration for me.”
This year, at the Dhaka International Film Festival, Anjan showcased his film Chalachitra Ekhon, which received widespread acclaim. He also won the Best Actor award. During the festival, Anjan spoke to the media about Chanchal Chowdhury.

After watching Chanchal’s performance in Moner Manush, I reached out to him. We were supposed to work together, but for some reason, it didn’t happen.”
Additionally, Chanchal Chowdhury also played the lead role of Mrinal Sen in popular filmmaker Srijit Mukherji’s biographical film ‘Padatik.’ In this biopic, Kolkata actress Monami Ghosh will play the role of Mrinal Sen’s wife, Geeta Sen.
Chanchal Chowdhury has also expressed his admiration for Anjan Dutt on several occasions. Their first meeting took place at Dhaka’s airport. Chanchal Chowdhury mentioned in a Facebook post, On my way, I met the dear artist Anjan Dutt at Dhaka airport. It was our first time meeting face to face, yet he embraced me with so much affection and love.
Recently, Chanchal Chowdhury’s new web series Feu has been released. In this series, Chanchal Chowdhury plays the character Sunil. Also starring in the series are Tariq Anam Khan as Kazi, Mostafizur Noor as Imran Marshal, Tahmina Athoi as Sunita Devi, and Rizvi Rizu as Palash. Additionally, Tanveer Apurba has delivered an outstanding performance as Daniel, and Hossain Jibon plays the role of Sohel.
