The pre-teaser released today showcases the compelling presence of Prosenjit Chatterjee and Srabanti Chatterjee. Filming for the Movie Begins with a Crew of 250 Members
The production of the movie, initially scheduled to begin in November 2023 with a crew of around 250 members, was delayed and started in January 2024. The crew shot the first scene on January 27 at the historic Jimmy Laha House in North Kolkata, where Srabanti Chatterjee, Kinjal Nanda, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, and Darshana Banik were present.
The next phase of filming began on January 28 in Purulia district, where the crew shot various scenes in the mesmerizing natural surroundings of the Ayodhya hills, its foothills, and dense forests. They also captured breathtaking sword and bow fighting sequences during this period. Filming continued in this location until the first week of February.
In the second phase of shooting, the crew filmed scenes in picturesque locations across Kolkata and Birbhum in West Bengal, as well as in Jharkhand and Bihar. Prosenjit Chatterjee, who played the role of Bhavani Pathak—one of the key attractions of the film—participated in the shooting during this phase.
