Storyline : Mehul, a chirpy, jovial teenager, is preparing for her higher secondary finals while secretly infatuated with her tutor and neighbour, Babai da — the pride of their locality. On Holi, she mischievously mixes sindoor into the colours to play with him. Unaware, Babai da smears it on her head, unknowingly enacting the sacred “sindoor-daan.” But joy turns to despair when Babai da suddenly commits suicide under mysterious circumstances, leaving Mehul shattered. *Parineeta* traces Mehul’s silent, innocent love as it transforms into a symbolic marital bond — a poignant journey of devotion, loss, and emotional awakening in the face of tragedy.
